Dundee hosts Geneseo Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Sectional opener.

Dundee’s Joe Tortolon converted a key foul shot with just 2 seconds remaining to give Dundee a thrilling 56-55 win over Red Jacket in the Finger Lakes West regular season finale for both teams on Tuesday in Dundee.

Red Jacket had rallied to tie the game at 55 with just 7 seconds remaining. But Tortolon’s clutch charity stripe heroics sent the partisan Scotsmen crowd home happy. Dundee wrapped up their regular season schedule with a 8-8 record in the Finger Lakes West and 12-8 record overall.

Justin Schenck was Dundee’s top scorer with 15 points. He also pulled down 11 rebounds. Dylan Hastings added 13 points in this big Dundee win. Tortolon ended up with 12 points and Blaine Moore 10.

In the upcoming Section V Boy’s Basketball Tournament, the Scotsmen cagers will be the No. 4 seed in the C-2 Tournament. They hosted No. 13 Geneseo on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.
