  • Michael A. Mullin, 24, of 63 Main St., Dundee, was killed in a one car rollover motor vehicle accident on Sunday, Oct. 11 shortly after 11 p.m.  Investigation by the Yates County Sheriff's Department revealed that the truck exited the east side of Norris Road in the Town of Milo, striking the ditch, which caused the vehicle to rollover several times.
Deputies say alcohol and unsafe speed contributed to the accident and Mullin's failure to wear a seatbelt was a factor in the fatality.
Deputies Kevin Crofoot, Jeffrey Rider, Sgt. Frank Ryan, Investigator Scott Backer and Chief Deputy Howard Davis responded along with Himrod Fire Department and Penn Yan ambulance personnel.
