Shirley L. Chadwick, 83, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Pine Road Dundee, died Friday January 28, 2011 at Sunrise on the Scioto, in Columbus, Ohio.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 5 at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water St., Dundee; where a funeral service will be held at noon with Rev. Marilyn Wood officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Reading Center.

Shirley was born October 1, 1927 in Tower Hill, Tioga County, Pa., the daughter of Lewis James and Emma B. Corwin Wright. They moved to New York when she was 10. On Dec. 30, 1945 in Reading Center she married the late Pierre H. Chadwick; he passed away on Dec. 13, 2005.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother; Mrs. Chadwick was a member of Starkey United Methodist Church, the Starkey United Methodist Women, and was a former Cub Scout Den Mother. She enjoyed quilting with her friends, baking, canning, and bread making.
She is loved and will be dearly missed by two sons, Phillip P. (Ann) Chadwick of Ruskin, Fla., Elwyn W. (Karen) Chadwick of Hilliard, Ohio; four grandchildren Scott (Jeanie) Chadwick of Penn Yan, Kevin Chadwick of Ruskin, Fla., Jennifer (Richard) Moore II of Glen Burnie, Md., Zachary (Crystal) Chadwick of Havre de Grace, Md.; six great-grandchildren, Arianna and Laken Chadwick of Penn Yan, Richard Moore III of Glen Burnie, Md., and triplets Samuel, Isabelle, and Mallory Chadwick of Havre de Grace, Md.; two brothers, Jerome M. Wright of Bath, Carrol E. (Pearl) Wright of Middlebury Center, Pa.; three sisters, Martha Morral of Wellsboro, Pa., Audrey Kaszewski of Monterey, and Norma (Dean) Wilcox of Dade City, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband she was pre-deceased by two sisters Mildred Cummings, and Virginia Bell, and two brothers, Arthur L. Wright, and James O. Wright.
