Jack Johncox, 74, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, December 28, 2012.
Friends may call Friday (Jan. 4th) from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Memorial Service will follow at 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Penn Yan Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps, 227 Main St., Penn Yan, NY 14527.

Jack was the son of the late Vern and Francis Ingram Johncox. He owned and operated AJ’s Power Equipment in Bellona. Jack loved his wife and family and will be greatly missed. Jack was a NASCAR fan and also loved his lawn and Fords. He loved and is missed by his dogs, Sassy and Mia.

Jack is survived by his wife of 56 years, Anna Jensen Johncox; six children,Debra (Keith) VanGelder, Donald (Patty) Johncox, Denise Johncox, Dawn Johncox, Douglas Johncox and Diana Johncox; 10 grandchildren, Sarah (James) Manchester, Kerry Van Gelder, Julie Van Gelder, Johnna Johncox, Gavin McGrath, Catherine Woolaver, BrianWoolaver, Jared Johncox, Jordyn Johncox, and Morgan Johncox; nine great-grandchildren; seven siblings, Audrey Smith, Dot (Edward) Pool, Jackie (Burton) Ellis, Joann (Raymond) Spencer, Mary (Si) Travis, Carolyn Gillam, and Joyce Clark; brothers and sisters-in-law, Leonard and Janice Jensen, Lyle and Emma Jensen, and Joan Colf; and many nieces and nephews.
Jack was predeceased by his granddaughter, Jilisa Johncox, and three siblings, Vern Johncox , Betty Weisschadel, and Aubrey “Bud” Johncox.
