Penn Yan Boys Basketball won at home and lost on the road last week.


The Mustangs beat Waterloo at home 59-38 last Tuesday. Penn Yan's top scorers were senior center James Burdette and sophomore Ben Covert, who had 18 and ten points respectively.


Three nights later, Penn Yan fell to Bath-Haverling on the road 69-63. Burdette again led Penn Yan with 18 points of scoring, and junior Shane Bloom scored 17 points for the Mustangs. Penn Yan led 46-41 entering the fourth quarter.


With the win and loss, Penn Yan's record is now 4-5 on the year.
