Howard and Rebecca Leach of Penn Yan announce the engagement of their daughter, Holly A. Leach to PFC Cory M. Sabins, the son of Richard and Melinda Sabins of Cohocton and Tamara and John Schoonover of Pavilion.
Holly is a 2007 graduate of Penn Yan Academy and a 2008 graduate of Wayne/Finger Lakes Technical Center Cosmetology program. She is a licensed cosmetologist at New Image Hair Network, Inc. in Watkins Glen.
Cory is a 2008 graduate of Wayland-Cohocton Central School and from Basic Training at Fort Jackson, N.C.
He completed AIT Training in 2009 and is certified in small weapon and artillery repairs. He is currently serving in the U.S. Army National Guard as a Reservist based in Rochester.
The couple is planning a Feb. 13, 2010 wedding.
