Edward and Lois (McKelvie) Malone of Benton Center will celebrate 50 years of marriage on Aug. 29. The couple was married in 1959 in Ilion, N.Y.
Edward and Lois have three children, Seth and Krista Malone of Union Springs, Beth Jensen of Branchport and Erin Malone of San Diego, Calif. They have four grandchildren.
Edward worked for P&C Food Stores and Lois worked for the Yates County employment development office. Both are retired.
The couple will celebrate their anniversary with a picnic at Red Jacket Park in Penn Yan with family and friends.
