Elaine Daggett and Daniel Lewis, both of Geneva, were married at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 29 at the Presbyterian Church of Geneva in a ceremony performed by Rev. W. James Gerling.
Elaine is the daughter of Daryl and Betty Daggett of Dresden. She is a graduate of Penn Yan Academy and the University at Buffalo. She is employed as a caseworker for Yates County Department of Social Services.
Daniel is the son of Arthur and Laura Lewis of Geneva. He is a graduate of Geneva High School and owner of Lewis Electric Service.
The bride wore a white strapless organza corset gown with beaded metallic lace on the bodice, skirt and Chapel train. She carried a bouquet of blue and white hydrangeas, roses and cala lilies. Blue and white hydrangeas decorated the church. She was escorted by her father, Daryl.
The matron of honor was Lolynn Worden of Seneca Falls. Bridesmaids were Connie Peacock, Brooke Habberfield, Beth Habberfield and Ashley Covell, all of Penn Yan, and Heather Day of Geneva.
Junior bridesmaids were Samantha and Jessica Covell of Penn Yan.
The best men were Andrew Worden of Seneca Falls and Matthew Rowe of Geneva.
Groomsmen were Nathan Daggett of Dresden, Matthew Ellsworth, Eric Davis and Daniel Day, all of Geneva and Tyler Peacock of Penn Yan. The junior groomsman was Michael Peacock.The flower girl was Harlyn Gray and the ring bearer was Hunter Worden.
The organist was Sandy Campbell and the readers were Carol Oakleaf of Gorham, Jessica Ellsworth of Geneva and Luanne Cross of Wasilla, Alaska.
A reception for 180 guests was held at the Ramada Inn Geneva Lakefront.
The couple lives in Geneva.
