Ted and Nancy Gascoigne of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Penn Yan, recently celebrated their golden anniversary. The couple was married in the Bluff Point Methodist Church Aug. 29, 1959.
The Gascoignes have four children: Deb Covert of Penn Yan; Teri, Steve and Mike, all of Ocala and four grandchildren, JD, Kyle and Megan Covert of Penn Yan and Alissa Jo of Ocala, Fla.
Nancy retired two years ago from the Marion County School Board. Ted is still a sales representative for an oil company.
