Rebecca Mitchell and Daniel Morse, both of Penn Yan, were married in a ceremony officiated by Father Robert Ring at St. Michael’s Church in Penn Yan on Oct. 3.
Rebecca, the daughter of Dale and Stacey Mitchell of Penn Yan, is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University with a Masters Degree from Walden University. She is a second grade teacher in the Penn Yan Central School District.
Daniel, the son of Thomas and Sherry Morse of Penn Yan, is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology and is an associate broker and realtor for ReMax in Penn Yan.
The bride chose an ivory Swiss pin dot gown with an inverted lace up back. She carried an arrangement of amnesia roses. She was escorted by her father, Dale Mitchell.
The Maid of Honor was Carrie Mitchell of Penn Yan, Rebecca’s twin sister.
Bridesmaids were Alison Mitchell of New York, cousin of the bride; Erika Mattoon, of Washington, D.C., and Brett Darrow of Penn Yan, both friends of he bride.
The Best Man was Michael Morse of West Palm Beach, Fla., brother of the groom. The groomsmen were Kevin Creary of Penn Yan, Ken Goodsell of Farmington and Brent Finger of Penn Yan, all friends of the groom.
The flower girl was Isabelle Mickelsen of Canandaigua, cousin of the bride.
Organist was Connie Gibson and vocalist was Toby Bond.
Following the wedding ceremony, a reception for 125 guests was held at Club 86 in Geneva.
A honeymoon trip to the Bahamas is planned.
