Fred Frank, president of Dr. Konstantin Frank Wine Cellars,  accepted the "Lifetime Achievement Award" at the Eastern Winery Exposition in March on behalf of the four generation of Frank family members that have run the winery since 1962.  In announcing the award, EWE program director, Richard Leahy acknowledged that for the first time, the award was being presented "not to a person, but to an institution."
