The annual Community Days in Rushville sponsored by the Rushville Lions Club will be held on the grounds of the Congregational and Methodist Churches Friday, Aug. 6 and Saturday, Aug. 7.

Activities kick-off with a yard sale in front of both churches early Friday morning. Barbecued chicken and pork dinners will be available at the Congregational Church starting at 5 p.m.

Hotdogs, hamburgers, soda, water, etc. will be sold during the middle hours of both days for the convenience of our patrons.
Saturday is the fun day for the whole family with Roscoe the Clown, games, and vendors on the church grounds.

The day begins with the Annual Blueberry Pancake Breakfast from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Methodist Church, featuring pancakes, eggs, sausage, and more.

Then walk around patronizing the vendors, who will be selling everything from crafts to tasty treats. Don’t forget to bring your kids to the fun and games area in front of the Methodist Church.
There will also be many private yard sales throughout the village during both days.

Free space for vendors is provided by the Rushville Lions.
For information and to reserve a space please contact Joanne Burley at 554-6822 or erma4616@frontiernet.net.
Community Days is a service project of the Rushville Lions Club to participate in the life of the community and for the people of Rushville and the Marcus Whitman School District from which the club draws it membership.
