Gourmet "High Tea" at Beekman House B&B to benefit the Arts Center of Yates County

The Arts Center of Yates County invites you to grab a fancy hat, find some friends, and join us for a holiday “high tea” Saturday, Dec. 10 at the 1897 Beekman House in Dundee.

Reservations are now being taken for both of the two tea “seatings” – the first from 12:30 – 2 p.m., and the second from 3 – 4:30 p.m.

The formal tea will include exotic teas, finger sandwiches, veggie canapes, and sweets such as scones, breads, and cakes – all prepared by Culinary Institute of America trained gourmet chef, Chuck France. Chuck and his wife Gerry are the owners of Beekman House, a meticulously restored historic Victorian house, now a popular bed and breakfast.

Seatings are limited to 18 participants each. Tickets are $35 per person. Hat designer Sharon Corcoran will give a brief presentation on “the art of hats.” Small holiday items created by local artists (cards, ornaments, earrings) will be available for purchase. Proceeds go to support the programs offered by the Arts Center of Yates County.

Call 315-536-8226 to make reservations for the Holiday Tea or for more information.
