The Eighth Annual Dundee Scottish Festival is slated for Saturday, July 15 at the VFW Post 8649 on Lakemont Road (125 Seneca Street Extension) from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

The annual festival includes colorful pageantry and feats of strength with appearances by Scottish pipe bands, drums, dancers, entertainers, clans and live music. Also featured are Celtic food and libations, Highland cattle, crowning of the 2017-’18 Highlander and Lady Scot, vendors, souvenirs and more. 

New attractions for 2017 will include an evening performance by the American Rogues and a bonfire. 

With the new location, there will be an admission fee to this year’s festival. Watch for more announcements as the festival date approaches, and visit
