USNY Bank opened its fourth branch June 26 — its second under the Bank of the Finger Lakes name — at 100 Main St. Penn Yan in the Village Centre building. Pam Donnells is the branch supervisor of the newest office. She lives in Penn Yan and has over 35 years of banking experience in Penn Yan and Geneva.

“The new branch features a smaller footprint and other banking innovations. Pam and her team look forward to offering another banking option to businesses, farmers, winery owners, and consumers in Yates County. I’m confident people will enjoy the customer experience in our new branch. We definitely want to play an active role in community activities and be part of the downtown business district,” says Mike Briggs, USNY Bank President and CEO.

Bank of the Finger Lakes is a unit of USNY Bank, a full-service community bank based in Geneva which opened for business in 2007. Bank of the Finger Lakes specializes in providing comprehensive banking services to small and medium sized businesses, agribusiness enterprises, farming and winery operations, as well as financing professional practices and commercial real estate owners/developers.

Briggs reports the bank had generated an unaudited Net Income of $1,188,512 for the three-month period that ended on June 30 compared to $1,005,516 for the previoius three-months.

Briggs comments, “We have generated consistent loan growth and strong operating results this year so far… We were recently named as a Preferred Lender by USDA’s Farm Service Agency.”
