It’s not too late to make the plunge for Krossin’ Keuka!

Now in its eighth year raising money for Keuka Comfort Care Home, Krossin’ Keuka is making it fun to jump in and make a splash! The website is filled with fun facts, tips, and everything you need to know about the swim. Participants should have an easier time registering for this year’s swim, and sponsors should have no trouble finding a swimmer to support.

Swimmers are encouraged to form their own pods of 10 to 12 swimmers to get a custom Krossin’ Keuka T-shirt with their pod name on it, if registered by July 1. This has proved to be extremely popular with many pods joining in the fun of creating their own look. But if you can’t find 10 friends, family members, or co-workers to join you, we will find a great group to put you with!

Although Krossin’ Keuka is not a race, it has become somewhat of a FUNdraising competition. This year, the top prize is a wine tour for four around Keuka Lake, complete with a limousine and Keuka Lake Wine Trail Passports. A “Basket of Cheer” will be given to the pod who raises the most money collectively.

We will have other incentive prizes, lots of auction items and we are raffling a GoPro HERO5 Black. All the details and more can be found at krossinkeuka.org and on the Krossin’ Keuka Facebook page (facebook.com/krossinkeuka). Details are also available by calling Keuka Comfort Care Home at 315-536-1690. There will also be fun facts, pictures from past events and lots of hints to help you fundraise!

Krossin’ Keuka is a .67-mile fun swim across Keuka Lake, off the shore of Keuka College, and will be held July 29. Swimmers are escorted by paddlers and marine patrol and greeted by adoring fans and a continental breakfast on the shore. The swim supports Keuka Comfort Care Home through FUNdraising in the form of sponsorships. Krossinkeuka.org has lots of ideas to help you come up with creative ideas to raise the money!
