An exclusive, one-time wine-tasting event at the Water Street Wine Bar in Penn Yan from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6 will benefit the Friends of the Outlet.

Guests at Sip, Savor, and Support FOTO will have fun as they help the Friends continue to improve the Keuka Outlet Trail by sampling from 14 large format (1.5 and 3 liter) bottles of collectible wines from the private collection of Water Street Wine and Spirits proprietor, Ray Spencer.

Enjoy savory delectables while sampling from New York State, California, and imported wines, all the while raising funds to support current initiatives to improve the Keuka Outlet Trail surfaces, signage, safety and security, and recreational and picnic areas.

Featured wines include: 1979 Hermann Wiemer Dry Riesling; 1996 Chateau St. Jean Chardonnay; 1996 Hahn Cabernet Franc; 1996 Stonehedge Cabernet Sauvignon; 1998 RH Phillips Cabernet Sauvignon; 1999 McGregor Rob Roy; 2001 Red Newt Viridescens; 2002 Avila Santa Barbara Cabernet Sauvignon; 2004 Kendall Jackson Meritage; 2007 Glorioso Rioja Crianza; 2012 Plungerhead Cabernet Sauvignon; 2012 Pennywise Cabernet Sauvignon; 2012 Josh Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon; 2012 Leese-Fitch Cabernet Sauvignon.

Guests will enjoy the photographic representations of scenes from the Keuka Outlet Trail by local photographer and artist, Lisa Brasier. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in art from Cal State Long Beach, Lisa worked for more than a decade in Southern California before moving to the Finger Lakes. Some of her photographs will be featured in the “Seen & Heard” exhibit at the ArtRage Gallery in Syracuse.

Event tickets are available for $50 per person, and are limited to 40. Each ticket purchased offers a chance to win one photo of the Trail, suitable for framing.
