Helen was born May 31, 1925 in Clinton, Mich. to Clyde and Marjorie (Mensing) Miller. She spent most of her adult life in Toledo, Ohio, where she worked as a bookkeeper for various companies. She also greatly loved playing card games with her grandchildren, keeping her yard and gardens in perfect condition and baking tons of cookies, especially at Christmas time for all of her family and friends. Helen volunteered in several organizations and was a long-time member of the United Methodist Church, both in Toledo and Penn Yan.
Helen was predeceased by her husband, Carlton Stevens; and brother, Warren Miller.
