Update: Penn Yan Police Chief Thomas Dunham says officers executed a search warrant Dec. 26 at Lloyd's Limited Pub and as a result, seized surveillance equipment. After securing a second warrant to view the contents of the equipment, they are reviewing the footage and expect to see the entirety of the night's events from that footage.

Penn Yan Police Chief Thomas Dunham released a statement at 9:45 a.m. Dec. 27 reporting that the Police Department "is aware of and is investigating an alleged sexual abuse incident that occurred at Lloyd's Limited Pub sometime on Dec. 24 through the early morning hours of Dec. 25."

Dunham says the police department received information through social media of a video that was allegedly taken inside Lloyd's Limited Pub. The police department has possession of the video and officers have interviewed witnesses.

Dunham says the department is in the process of investigating the alleged incident and he expects to be able to release more information soon.

On Monday, Christmas Day, the video appeared on social media sites. Comments on the social media sites allege Lloyd's Limited owner Robert Champlin of a sexual assault on a woman in the establishment.

The Chronicle-Express has been unable to reach Champlin for a comment.
