Dundee native and rising music star Bobby Fitzgerald returned to Yates County as the  guest of honor at Lake Street Plaza Theatres’ benefit showing of Pitch Perfect 3 to raise funds for Dundee Central School’s Music Boosters.

On a frigid Sunday morning, 128 people bought $10 tickets that included popcorn and soda to see the role that Fitzgerald’s band, Whiskey Shivers, played in the film. Prior to showing, he spoke to the many students in the crowd on the path his music career has taken from his beginnings at DCS at with his bluegrass fiddle teacher, local icon Roy Litteer. Fitzgerald and Litteer were also interviewed by a visiting television station from Elmira.

Adding to the $1.50 per ticket to benefit the Music Boosters, Lake Street Plaza Theatres made a matching donation for a total of $384 raised.
