The Keuka Comfort Care Home annual sale is well known for its quality used items

With Spring comes Keuka Comfort Care Home’s Big Barn Bonanza in Yates County.

Every year, the residents of Yates County and beyond are very generous and donate some fabulous items to KCCH’s Big Barn Bonanza, and organizers expect this year to be the best one yet, says Maureen Wise.

Keuka Comfort Care Home’s annual garage sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, June 1, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2 at the Yates County Fairgrounds on Old Rte. 14A, Penn Yan. Volunteers will be at the fairgrounds to accept donations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, May 28, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 29.

Organizers request that those doing spring cleaning please consider saving the best items for the sale.

Like new household items, such as glassware, kitchenware, baby items, paintings and pictures, antiques, furniture, decorations, jewelry, and linens will be accepted. Items that will not be accepted include clothing, shoes, electronics such as TV’s, computers, or printers; large gym/exercise equipment; skis, or artificial Christmas trees. Experience has taught the organizers that those kinds of items don’t sell.

Arrangements can be made to have a donation transported by calling KCCH that week.

If you have a questionable donation, please call Keuka Comfort Care Home at 315-536-1690, prior to May 28 and May 29.
