Scott Eric Hundley, born April 24, 1960, passed on October 23, 2017. His gigantic heart could sustain the immensity of his physical form no longer; his life was complete.

Scott did not want a funeral. His family would like you to join them at the American Legion in Geneva from 2 to 4 p.m. April 21 for a celebration of Scott’s life.

Those who are loved are never gone, they live on in the hearts of those who love them. By that wisdom, Scott’s spirit is eternal. His daughters, Amber Mann and Katie Mahler and their children, Scott’s grandsons: Lucas, Cade, Sidney, and Marco, alongside Scott’s sister and brother-in-law: Nancy and Gene Spencer, their sons Drew and Eric Spencer, and his PSG work family, miss him with an intensity unmet.

He served 11 years in the U.S. Army, an experience from which he gained a super-human amount of will and strength, matched with a renewed regard for the precious nature of life.

Scott went on to build; his life’s work was in home and later retail construction. He loved excellent meals, cigars, guns, the Beatles, and honey whiskey. But most of all, he loved to share them with his family, friends, and co-workers.

Scott was our father, papa, brother, protector, friend, and mentor; he was truly a presence, always had a smile, a positive spirit, many words of wisdom, and a strong embrace to share. We go forward better and stronger for knowing him. We keep his strong spirit alive in our hearts.
