The Chambers of Commerce from Yates County, Canandaigua, Geneva, Seneca County and Victor are hosting an Eggs & Issues event that will bring Brian Sampson, Executive Director of Unshackle Upstate to the Finger Lakes. This Eggs & Issues event will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at Club 86 on Avenue E in Geneva, beginning at 8:30 a.m..
Unshackle Upstate is a bi-partisan coalition of over 70 business and trade organizations representing upwards of 45,000 companies and employing more than 1 million people. Members hail from across Upstate New York with one goal: To achieve reforms in Albany that make Upstate a stronger place to do business.
Brian will update the group on the state of the current budget negotiations, the ramifications of the budget on local schools, health care facilities and governments. He will also give insight in terms of the fall campaigns and will take questions from the audience.
