Penn Yan Police are investigating the damage done to a light pole and lamp located on the Outlet Trail near the Main Street bridge.
Police say it appears that the suspects either climbed the pole or pushed it with enough force to snap the fiberglass at its base. Value of the pole is unknown.
Police are asking the public if they witnessed any person's in the area of the Outlet Trail near the Main Street bridge around 8 p.m. on Aug. 30 to contact the police department at 315-536-4426.
