Constance "Connie" Myrick Davie Bauer, 90, of Bellona passed peacefully Sunday, July 29, 2018.

A funeral service celebrating her life will be held Friday, Aug. 3, 2018 at the Presbyterian Church in Bellona. Calling hours will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. with services immediately following. Interment will follow at Bellona Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Connie would have been very grateful of a donation to the Bellona Presbyterian Church.

She was born as a triplet to the late Thelma Elliot and Raymond Leroy Myrick Sr. on July 12, 1928. On her recently celebrated 90th birthday, Connie was excited to see all of her children and to hold her newest great-grandchild. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Connie had touched throughout her long life.

A loving mother and homemaker, Connie was a high-energy person and had a wonderful sense of humor. She majored in art in school and enjoyed it throughout her life. In her early years, Connie was active in 4-H, was a Girl Scout leader, and volunteered at the Bellona Presbyterian Church as a Sunday School teacher and at Bible Camp.

She enjoyed working for many families over the years as a child-care provider and she was a certified Personal Care Aide for Ontario County.

Connie was predeceased by her loving husband of 42 years, Theodore Byron Davie, and second husband of six years, Lee Bauer. She was also predeceased by her sister, Barbara Adelaide Myrick and brother Raymond Leroy Myrick.

Connie is survived by her brother, Richard Elliot Myrick and five children, Victoria Ujlaky Crego, Theodore Byron (Susan) Davie Jr., Barbara Ann Davie, Thomas Raymond (Robyn) Davie, and Sarah Davie (John) Wilson. She was also very proud of her eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

We will all miss our beloved mother, sister, and friend.
