Thomas Arthur Bittner, 72, of Keuka Park, passed away suddenly July 26, 2018, in the town of Cambria of Lockport.

Honoring his wishes there will be no prior calling hours. A memorial service will be held at St. Jerome’s Church in East Rochester, at 10 a.m. Aug. 6 with private burial at Oakwood Cemetery to follow.

Tom was born in Rochester to Arthur and Ruth Bittner on Jan. 19, 1946.

He graduated from Penfield High School in 1965. Following graduation, he worked at Kodak before being drafted in the United States Army. He proudly served and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was awarded various medals including the Bronze Star.

Upon leaving the army, he returned to Kodak, where he worked for 22 years. As Kodak downsized he retrained as a tractor trailer driver. He did this for several years before finally retiring fully. In his free-time, he enjoyed rebuilding cars and trucks and camping. He was a member of Lazy Lakes Campground for several years and thought highly of his friends there.

Tom is preceded in death by both parents and older brother, Richard.

He is survived by sons, Matthew (Sally) and Jeremiah (Kristina), grandchildren, Lydia (16), Elliot (14), Matthew (13), and Loren (12). He also leaves behind his beloved partner, Mary (Weber).
