Allyson Elizabeth Galens, 20, passed away August 7, 2010 as a result of an automobile accident.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 14 at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home, 2583 East Main St., P.O. Box 201 Gorham.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Sunday Aug. 15 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Marcus Whitman Cheerleading, 4100 Baldwin Rd., Rushville, NY 14544.
A 2007 graduate of Marcus Whitman High School, Allyson graduated in 2010 from Genesee Community College as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
In high school she participated in track, cheerleading and swimming. She was a former Girl Scout. In college she participated in cheerleading.
She is survived by her parents, Allen and Tracy Galens; sister, Kristin; maternal grandparents, Peter and Trudy Cooper; paternal grandmother, Myrna Galens; aunts and uncles, Peter (Deborah) Cooper, Cindy Bagley, Sherri (Paul) Sireff, Shirley (Glen) Woodbury, Randy Galens and Shawn Galens; and many cousins.
Allyson was predeceased by her grandfather, Bill Galens.
