Harold W. Inscho, 83, of Penn Yan,  passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at the Homestead Nursing Home in Penn Yan.

Harold’s family will receive friends and guests in celebration of his life from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb., 19, 2010 at Townsend-Wood Funeral Chapel, 201 E. Elm St., Penn Yan.  Interment will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Penn Yan at the convenience of the family.

Harold was born in Dundee, on Dec. 2, 1926, the son of  Kenneth and Celia (Roe) Inscho. Harold served in the U.S. Navy and was a carpenter by trade. He was a very proud and loving father and grandfather.

Harold is survived by his children, Daryl (Linda) Johnson, Lorelie Avellaneda, LuAnn Campbell and Lorena (Joe) Cromheecke; his grandchildren, Alicia, Christian, and Gabriel Avellaneda, Kiley and Lindsy Campbell, Matthew and Hans Johnson and Elizabeth Cromheecke; his sister, Vivian Keesey; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Gertrud Andersen; three brothers and four sisters.
