Paul C. Nelson, 64, of David Downey Road, died February 2, 2010 at home.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5 at the First Baptist Church in Penn Yan. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
A lifelong resident of Torrey, Paul was born Jan. 20, 1946, the son of Ole and Josephine Robinson Nelson. He attended Penn Yan Academy and served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968. He was a disabled veteran.
He is survived by two brothers, Floyd (Deborah) and Willard Nelson, both of Penn Yan; a sister, Joyce (George) Slocum of Keuka Park; three nieces and one nephew.
