ROY E. BELL

KEUKA PARK - Roy E. Bell, 88, passed away on January 18, 2008 at Highland Hospital in Rochester.
There will be no prior calling hours.  Family and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008 at 10 a.m. at St. Michael’s Church in Penn Yan.  Burial will take place in the spring at St. Michael’s Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Roy’s name to Keuka College, 141 Central Ave., Keuka Park, NY 14478 or to a charity of one’s choice.
Roy was born on May 18, 1919 in Clarence, the son of the late Harry and Kathleen Stoddard Bell.  He was a WWII Veteran, serving in the US Army from 1942-45 and spent most of his working career at Keuka College.
Roy is survived by several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his wife, Helen F. Bell on February 23, 2006; and brothers, Wendal, Edison, Roger.

ERVA J. (BOSS) MARGESON

PENN YAN/DUNDEE — Erva J. (Boss) Margeson, 70 of Chubb Hollow Road, died January 20, 2008 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital in Penn Yan.
There will be no calling hours. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25 at Weldon Funeral Home, 102 E. Main St., Penn Yan with the Rev. Barbara Gifford officiating. Burial will be in Benton Cemetery in Benton.
Memorials may  be made to the Office for the Aging.
Erva was born Oct. 12, 1937 in Penn Yan to Oscar and Agnes Corbitt Mortensen. She was a cook for Meals on Wheels at the Office for the Aging.
She is survived by her former husband, Carl; Louis Briggs, with whom she made her home; a son Carl R. (Kimberly) Margeson of Penn Yan; daughters Vicki A. (Doug) Dailey and Kim Ellen Kulp of Penn Yan; brother Roy Mortensen of Penn Yan; sisters Elsie Briggs of Dundee; Leona (Kenneth) Wright of Penn Yan 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and her Pug, Baby.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Michelle Margeson, brothers Bud and Oscar and sisters Elma, Nellie and Betty.

HELEN C. MILLS

PENN YAN — Helen C. Mills, 87, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2008 at the Arnot-Ogden Medical Center in Elmira.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008 at 11 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Penn Yan with Father John Gathanyea officiating. Interment will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Penn Yan.  The family requests no flowers.  Memorials may be made in Helen’s name to St. Michael’s Parochial School. 
Helen was born on May 28, 1920, the daughter of the late Augustine and Jane Costello Colmey.  She was an alumna of St. Michael’s Parochial School, Penn Yan Academy and St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing.  Helen also completed advanced nursing and psychiatric coursework at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Louise DeMerillac Hospital, Niagara University, CCFL and Keuka College.  Her nursing career included positions at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Elmira, Soldier’s and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Penn Yan, Foster Hatch Medical Group in Penn Yan, US Veterans Hospitals in Canandaigua and Bath, and Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic.  Helen was a life long member of St. Michael’s Church. 
Helen is survived by her daughters Jane M. DeSmith, Ph.D. (David) of Fairport, and Virginia M. (Brendan) Curtin of Elmira,  seven grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Metz V. Mills in April 1995; daughter, Rita Mills Rhinehart in 1986; brother, Lt. John Colmey III in 1944 and sister, Mary Jane Hutchison in 2004.

RIKKI L. PRICE

PENN YAN — Rikki L. Price, 60, of St. Mark’s Terrace, died January 17, 2008 at Highland Hospital.
Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Jan. 23 at Weldon Funeral Home, 102 E. Main St., Penn Yan, where a funeral service will be held at noon Wednesday, Jan. 23. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Penn Yan.
Rikki was born on Nov. 22, 1947 in Illinois to Raymond and Lillian V. (Knodle) Berkley. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by her sons, Charles B. (Peggy Newkirk) Mayhew and Steven P. (Jessica) Mayhew, both of Penn Yan; daughters Rikki M. (Craig) Brown of Rochester and Candace (Bruce D. Jensen Jr.) Badamy of Penn Yan; brothers Milo Griffin of Florida and James Ingman of Ohio; sisters Karen Greene of Ohio, Laura Ingman of Tennesee, Barb Ingman of Ohio and Gloria Williams of Illinois; 21 grandchildren and one great grandson.
