ESTHER M. CHRYSLER
GENEVA — Esther M. Chrysler, age 79, of Castle St., died Saturday, May 3, 2008 at her home.
Friends called Tuesday, May 6 at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gorham Cemetery.

Esther was the daughter of the late John and Clara B. Savage Simons. She was the widow of Frank Chrysler, who died in 1973. She was formerly employed at Monaco’s Grocery Store, the Big M, and Rite Aid.
Esther was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed her family and friends and was loved by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley (James) Hall; sons, David (Chong) Chrysler and Dale (Michelle) Day; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Shirley Simons Ryan; niece, Lisa (Steven) Walk; and one great-nephew, Jacob Walk.

ROCHESTER — Joyce Renner Porter died May 1, 2008 in Rochester at the age of 73.
A memorial service will be celebrated at 4 p.m., Saturday, May 10 at Twelve Corners Presbyterian Church, 1200 Winton Road South, Rochester. Friends are invited to bring a written memory or favorite photo of Joyce for the family’s memory book.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Stuart; children, Tod (Teri) Porter and Lisa (Brian) Christopher; grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew and Molly Porter, Adam and Emily Christopher; brothers, Dr. Elmer Dech, and Rev. Merle (Florence) Dech, several nieces and nephews; and close family friend Dale (Rob) Sells. Joyce’s career began as a registered nurse. She then received her B.S. in Health Education and an MS in Education/Administration and Supervision.
She was employed at the Rochester City School District as the Administrator for the Drug and Alcohol Program. Stu and Joyce enjoyed many wonderful years of traveling in their motor home with their family. She was an active member of Twelve Corners Presbyterian Church for over 40 years. In the last 20 years they spent much of their time entertaining family and friends at their cottage on Keuka Lake. Joyce loved life and gave much to everyone she touched.
JESSIE MAE RIGBY
STANLEY—Jessie Mae Rigby, 94, died Sunday, May 4, 2008.
Friends may call Thursday, May 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A funeral service will be held Friday, May 9, at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Gorham Cemetery.

Mrs. Rigby was born in Thurston. She was the daughter of Jay M. Jack and Chloe Torrence Jack. She was a graduate of St. James Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1933. She was employed by Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital for 32 years. She was a member of the St. James Alumni Association and a charter member of the Stanley Fireman’s Auxiliary.
She is survived by her sons, Duane (Carolyn) Rigby of Canandaigua and Armand (Helen) Rigby of Ocala, FL; seven grandchildren, Tracy Rigby, Julie (Tom) Hensley, Jodi (Carl) Queen, Jean (Brian) Petersen, Candy (Ron) Secor, Terry (Patti) Jensen and Todd (Jean) Jensen; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ruth Mulhollen.
In 1991 she was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Donald Rigby. She was also predeceased by three sisters, Chole Freeland, Grace Galloway and Katherine Monroe; and one grandson, Tim Douglas Jensen.
MARGARET J. SQUIRES
ELMIRA — Margaret J. Squires, 75, of 1262 Woodbine Ave., Elmira, died Monday, April 28, 2008 at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester surrounded by her loving family.
A funeral service was held Friday, May 2 with interment in Maple Grove Cemetery, Horseheads.
She was born April 9, 1933 in Big Flats, daughter of the late Fred R. Sr. and Leona (Gardner) Edmister, She was predeceased by her husband Cassius (Cash) Squires on Dec. 7, 2006; brother Robert Edmister; sisters Freda Newton, Julia Myers and Helen Hall and is survived by her children and their spouses Kenneth (Joy Cormelly) Squires of Elmira, Joan Squires Campbell of Elmira, Gary (Tari Lemmer) Squires of Salamanca, Patricia Squires (Terry Adams) of Elmira, Sue Squires (Richard) VanTreese of Campbell, Jeffery Squires of Elmira and Barbara Squires of Elmira; 11 grandchildren including Steven Peterson who resided with her; 14 great grandchildren; sister Donna (Charlie) LaVoie-Smith of Rochester, brothers Fred (Jane) Edmister, Jr. of Pine City, Tom (Maryann) Edmister of Conklin, and Charles (Linda Patrick) Edmister of Horseheads along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Margaret retired from the Elmira City School District as a bus driver and owned and operated a small Peanut Business at the Windmill in Penn Yan.
KAYDEN LUCAS WRIGHT-PARTRIDGE
DUNDEE — Kayden Lucas Wright-Partridge, newborn son of Alicia Wright and William Partridge of Dundee, died Wednesday April 30, 2008 at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester.
There were no prior calling hours. A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. at Hillside Cemetery in Dundee with Pastor Barbara Gifford officiating.
Besides his parents he is survived by a sister, Kaylin Rae at home; maternal grandparents Linc and Wendy Wright of Dundee; paternal grandparents Carl and Kim Margeson of Penn Yan; uncle Lucas A. Wright; maternal great grandparents Kay Albert, Cloyse Snyder, Jeannine Snyder, Curt and Linda Wright; paternal great grandparents Beverly Boorom, and Lewis Briggs; maternal great great grandmother Velda Mortensen; and numerous great aunts, uncles and many cousins.
He was pre-deceased by an aunt Nicole M. Wright; great grandfather William Boorom; and great grandmother Erva Margeson.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee.
