Susan F. Bloss, 68, of CLinton Street, died Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Keuka Comfort Care Home.
A memorial service for Sue will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29 at the First United Methodist Church, Main Street, Penn Yan. A reception will be held in the Memorial Building following the service. Memorial donations may be made to Keuka Comfort Care, Clinton Crest Manor or Yates County Animal Shelter.
Sue was born Oct. 29, 1941, the daughter of Fred and Lu Comstock Guyle.
She was a lifelong resident of Yates County. She retired from Yates County, where she worked in the jail kitchen for many years.
Sue enjoyed entertaining family and friends and was always baking treats to share.
She is survived by her five children, Victoria (Eric) Nussbaumer, of Windsor, N.C., Rex (Ginny), James (Cheryl), John and Mark (Cindy) Fenton, all of Penn Yan; 12 grandchildren, five step-children and many step-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Mike Bloss.
