Helen V. Radzavicz, 93, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the Homestead Nursing Home in Penn Yan.
There will be no prior calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, March 15 at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Liberty St., Penn Yan. Interment will be at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Nanticoke, Pa. at the convenience of the family.

Helen was born in Nanticoke, Pa., the daughter of Andrew and Julia Gorka Maczuga. She was a retiree of Westinghouse. She will be remembered by both relatives and friends for her artistic and creative afghans that she crafted.
Helen is survived by her son, Jack, of Penn Yan; her sister, Jane Lukowski of New Jersey; her granddaughter, Jill (Kevin) Ayres of South Carolina; her grandson, Jay (Maureen) Radzavicz of Florida; her grandchildren, Brendan and Bonnie Ayres; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded her in death by her husband, Andrew L. Radzavicz, her brothers, Frances, Louis, Joseph, Charles, and Raymond Maczuga; and her sisters, Julia Swatek and Amelia Maczuga.
