Elizabeth Mae Houck Westerdahl died peacefully in her sleep at Geneva General Hospital on January 31, 2010.
A memorial service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

Elizabeth was born Aug. 8, 1908, the daughter of Elmer S. Houck and Elsie Pearl Clopper and step-daughter of Effie Shuey.
Through her birth mother, Elsie Clopper, Elizabeth was descended from Cornelius Janzen Clopper, one of the earliest settlers of New Amsterdam.
She is survived by her sons, Carl A. (Susan Clarke) Westerdahl, of Williamston, Mass. and Bruce (Nancy Ogden) Westerdahl, of Penn Yan; grandchildren Maura, Carl H., Douglas (Holly), Steve and Tammy (Scott) Albertson; great-grandchildren Ryan, Amanda, Jennifer (James) Loughner, Allison (Dave) Hebert, Amy, Jamie Albertson, Lindsey Albertson, Kristen Albertson and her namesake, Elizabeth and great-great grandchildren, Hannah and Haylee Loughner.
She was predeceased by her husband Carl Arnold Westerdahl in 1955 and a grandson, Eric Jon.
