Richard A. Perry Sr., 54, died at home surrounded by his family and friends Monday, March 15, 2010.
Calling hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 18, followed by a memorial service for Richard at 7 p.m. at Weldon Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery at the family’s convenience. Memorial donations may be made to Ontario Yates Hospice.
Richard was born June 8, 1955 the son of William and Margaret Thompson Perry. He worked for the Finger Lakes DDSO in Rochester for 32 years. He was a member o the Seneca Lake Duck Hunters’ Club, as well as the America Legion. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and enjoyed old cars, motorcycles, music, and painting cars.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Janine, his children Richard (Karla) Perry Jr., Aaron Joyce and Deb, Tammy Perry, Kerri Perry and Shawn Searles all of Penn Yan. Grandchildren Mikayla, Rebecca, Jason, Nicole, Aryana, Alexa and Darren Jr. Great grandchildren Malackai, Araceli and Taylor. His father, WIlliam (Bill) Perry of DUndee; sisters, Betty (Walt) Johnson of Penn Yan, Edith (Les) McFall of Dundee, Kathy Rivas of Canandaigua, pat Watson of Penn Yan, Vickey (Steve) McFall of Dundee; sisters-in-law, Missy Perry of Penn Yan, Judy (Don) Cornelius of Penn Yan, Janet and Joyce (Bill) Sergent of Stanley; several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by his mother Margaret Perry, brothers Eugene and Frankie, sister Jackie, and brother-in-law Howard Watson.
