Police in Pakistan this week have arrested 513 parents who refused to have their kids vaccinated against polio. The polio vaccine has nearly eliminated the disease in most of the world, but it continues to be a problem in Pakistan. Last year Pakistan had 327 cases of polio, according to CNN, while the second most cases were 36, in Nigeria. Police said the parents will be let go if they sign a form agreeing to have their kids get the polio vaccine.
