The #1 ranked Mynderse Blue Devils remained undefeated with a 50-37 victory over the Penn Yan Mustangs Friday evening in Seneca Falls. The loss dropped Penn Yan's record to 5-5 overall and 0-4 in the Finger Lakes East League race. Desmond Battin tallied 9 points to lead Penn Yan in scoring. Ben Emerson and Dylan Stape chipped in 8 points each. Stape also pulled down 9 rebounds. Waterloo will be Penn Yan's next opponent Tuesday night in Penn Yan.
Marcus Whitman 64 South Seneca 55
The Marcus Whitman Wildcats remained undefeated in Finger Lakes West action. Whitman downed South Seneca 64-48 Friday night in Ovid. The Wildcats are a perfect 6-0 in Finger Lakes West play.
Burlin Allen notched 19 points to top the Wildcat scoring ledger. He also dished out 9 assists. Jon Donovan added 15 points while Riley McLoud and Nick Young tossed in 11 and 10 points respectively. Whitman will host Naples Tuesday night in another Finger Lakes West showdown.
Bloomfield 51 Dundee 46
The Dundee Scots fell to the Bloomfield Bombers 51-46 at home Friday evening. The Scotsmen fell to 5-3 in FL West League play. They are 6-3 overall.
Bobby Strait was Dundee's top scorer with 14 points. Kyle Cratsley added 12 points. Dundee will travel to Manchester to take on Red Jacket on Tuesday evening.
Mynderse 44 Penn Yan 32
The matchup between Penn Yan and Mynderse Friday night in Penn Yan figured to be a closely fought. Mynderse entered the game ranked #4 and the Mustang girl's #5. The Mynderse Blue Devils pulled away to a 51-46 win in this FL East contest. The Mustang girls dropped their first FL East game of the season. They are 3-1 in the league and 5-3 overall.
Lizzy Lafferty led the Penn Yan attack with 11 points. Hannah Keech chipped in 7 points while Emily Wunder and Sydney Bloom added 4 point each.

The Marcus Whitman Wildcat girl's basketball team entertained #1 South Seneca in a Finger Lakes West League game Thursday evening in Gorham. South Seneca came away with a 63-34 victory in this contest. Jordyn Chappelle led the Whitman girls attack with 11 points. Dani Bagley added 8 points and also pulled down 10 rebounds.
