Used to be you had to have some modicum of talent to get on a TV series. Oh, not a lot, as reruns of “Gilligan’s Island” or “Saved by the Bell” will demonstrate. But a little. Not so, any longer. These days all you need to do is have a lot of kids at once (“Jon & Kate Plus 8”), or be a really bad dresser (“What Not to Wear”), or a really bad parent (“Nanny 911”), or a really bad role model (“Being Bobby Brown”), or be in a family of really bad role models (“Keeping Up with the Kardashians”).
