Call Pam Swarthout at 315279-4321 to register or for more information\n\n<b>THE SEED LIBRARY<\/b>\n\nAt a recent meeting, The Plant Based People Group learned about The Seed Library at the Modeste Bedient Memorial Library in Branchport. The Seed Library project was funded (in part) by a grant from the Foundation for Southern Tier Libraries which was obtained by Shelley Pierce, the Library Director.\n\nThe Seed Library consists of a catalog of seeds for growing herbs, vegetable and fruits. There is no cost for the seeds, but donations are appreciated and help to keep this initiative fruitful.\n\nPlease come and check out our Seed Library! You will be glad you did!\n\nThe Plant Based People Group strives to promote education, fellowship and food creativity to those community members interested in exploring vegetarian and vegan lifestyles. Our group meets the first Wednesday of every month from 6 \u2013 7:45 p.m. at the Modeste Bedient Memorial Library in Branchport. We have guest speakers, member teaching and lively discussions. The First Aid Closet located in Dresden on Avenue A has many items to chose from. Everything is free of charge and may be borrowed for as long as you need them. Some of these items include: canes, walkers, commodes, raised toilet seats, shower chairs, wheelchairs, chair lifts, hospital beds, and hoyer lifts to name a few.\n\nThere is no need for you to buy when you can borrow these items for no charge. We have wonderful caring volunteers to help you.
