Branchport Chicken Barbecue
Chicken barbecue at Branchport United Methodist Church, Guyanoga Road, Branchport, near the four corners. This is a drive-thru event beginning at 4:30 p.m. and ending when we run out of chicken!
Menu includes 1/2 chicken, potatoes, coleslaw, beans, roll and cookie all for $12. Children under 10 is $6 and 1/2 chicken only is $6. Let us cook for you and join us for a delicious meal!
Dundee Fly-in, Drive-in Breakfast
The Dundee Flying Club Labor Day Fly-in, Drivein Breakfast is September 5 featuring the ‘Awe-Ja-Magic’ pancake maker invented by Clarence Sebring. It is to be held from 7 a.m. to 11a.m. at the corner of Route 14A and Chase Road, Reading Center.
Adults $10, children $6. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, eggs, applesauce, coffee, orange juice, and hot chocolate.

LeTourneau Christian Center’s Blessed Hope ladies luncheons are restarting for the fall!
Come join us on Friday, Sept. 9 at 11 a.m. Nikki Parris is returning as our speaker. Registration and $13 pre-payment before Sept. 2 are required for in-person attendance and lunch, which can be made by calling 585-554-3400. LeTourneau Christian Center is located at 4950 County Road 11, Rushville.

Tuesday Knitting Drop In
Knitting Drop In Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Hammondsport Public Library, 21 William St. For all levels of knitters. Bring your materials, a project for which you need assistance or ideas about what you’d like to knit. A limited supply of knitting materials will be available. If you have spare needles or yarn, donations for attendees are welcome.
