<div class="byline"><b>Chelsea Race <\/b>\n<i>Yates County Chamber of Commerce<\/i><\/div>\nPENN YAN -- On the evening of Saturday, Nov. 12, the Yates County Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual dinner and awards ceremony at Seasons on Keuka Lake for the first time since 2019.\n\nOver 150 people attended the event, many dressing to the theme of the Roaring Twenties. Jessica Bacher, President & CEO of the Yates County Chamber, welcomed the guests with a brief presentation and annual update. Awards were given to organizations and individuals that were selected for the annual awards back in 2020 when the event had to be cancelled.\n\nThe Norman Snow Jr. Memorial Spirit Award is given annually to an organization or individual in Yates County that demonstrates tremendous community spirit. Milly\u2019s Pantry was the recipient, accepted by Carleen Wilson, Board Vice-President, and Denise Shay, Executive Director.\n\nThe second award presented was the Emily Seager Memorial Pride Award, given to an individual who demonstrates great community pride. The recipients were Lyn and Taylor Fitch. Both long-time active residents of Yates County where they ran F&W Auto Parts for over 25 years. Lyn and Taylor have and continue to serve on many boards and volunteer theirtimewithmany local organizations.\n\nThe Robert Maxwell Memorial Award was the last award of the evening, presented to the Director of the Year.
