Vaughn A. Baker of Penn Yan passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022, with family by his side at Highland Hospital. He is predeceased by his parents, Edith and Archie Baker and his sister, Thelma Henderson.

Vaughn is survived by his wife, Phoebe; his three sons Scott (Kristin) Baker, Kirk (Jennifer) Baker, and Dean Baker; grandchildren Charity (Anthony) Noyer, Christian Baker, Ethan Baker, Em Baker; two greatgrandsons Aiden and Liam Noyer; his niece Debra (Bill) Bachman and nephew Bruce (Denise) Henderson.

For over 30 years Vaughn taught high school special education mainly in the Rochester City School District. In his retirement he enjoyed his days on Keuka Lake and attending any event to support and cheer on his grandchildren who held a special place in his heart.
