Phillip G. Allison of Adams Rd, Penn Yan, N.Y. passed away December 16, 2022, at the age of 87.

Phil was born in Penn Yan on July 24, 1935, the son of the late Percy and Mildred (Johnson) Allison. Phil was a lifelong resident of Penn Yan. He honorably served in the United States Army as a young man. Phil built a career and retired from American Can Company in Geneva working as a machinist. Phil enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating on Keuka Lake. He was a lifetime member of the Penn Yan American Legion and Seneca Lake Duck Club where he enjoyed seeing friends.

Phil is survived by his loving companion of 22 years, Sue Jepsen; sons, Chad Allison (Susan Polizzi) and Kipp Allison; six grandchildren: Justin, Nicole, Amanda, Chad Jr., Christopher and Melissa, as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Phillip J. Allison and his siblings.

Following with Phil’s wishes, there are no services. Weldon Funeral Home in Penn Yan is handling arrangements.
