JANUARY 26 Dundee Food Pantry The Dundee Food Pantry for January is on Thursday the 26th from 11 a.m. -12:30 p.m. (please note the new hours). It is located in the parking lot of the Dundee Baptist Church at 20 Seneca St., Dundee. All residents of the Dundee Central School District are welcome to register and receive grocery items. Everyone will need to register for 2023, so please bring two forms of proof of residence. Distribution continues to be a drive-through protocol for now. JANUARY 28 Branchport Methodist Free Community Dinner Join us for an evening of food and fellowship at our monthly free community dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 at the Branchport United Methodist Church fellowship hall. We will be serving lasagna, salad, bread, and dessert. All are welcome - come as you are and bring your family and friends! Thinking of Love Saturdays, Jan. 28 and Feb. 4 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Join potter Faith Benedict at her Fire Works Pottery, 1554 Baker Rd, Penn Yan to create in stoneware clay, using hand building techniques, an item or two for loved ones for Valentine’s Day, or whatever you so desire. JANUARY 31 Community Café The next free dinner through the Community Café at Penn Yan United Methodist will be Tuesday, Jan. 31 at 4 p.m. It will feature sausage on a roll, fried potatoes, green beans, and brownies. You must call Connie Glover at 315694-2070, or Jeanne Schuck at 315694-3288 to reserve meals by noon Monday, Jan. 30. Meal pickup will be in the Fellowship Hall starting at 4 p.m. (no early admittance). The meal is free to all and everyone is welcome.
