Beverly L. Hunt, 88, of Penn Yan passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on February 23, 2023 surrounded by her children.

Beverly was born in Waterloo, N.Y., the daughter of the late Seward and Edith Elvie (Buck) Lerch.

Beverly was proud to have dedicated her life on the 200-year-old family farm to homemaking. She was a long-time member of the Milo Center United Methodist church.

She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years Elwyn R. Hunt, her son-in-law David, and three brothers Wendell (Florene), S. Jerome (Eleanor), Everett (Helen). She is survived and will be missed by her children, Russ, Ron, and Nancy; several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Milo Center Methodist Church or Yates-Ontario Hospice.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Beverly will be buried alongside her husband at Lakeview Cemetery in Penn Yan. Arrangements with Weldon Funeral Home.
