Kay Lorraine Lampman, 66, of Dresden, N.Y., passed away March 12, 2023.
She was born in Bath, N.Y. on August 10, 1956, the daughter of Howard and Laura Longwell. She graduated from Dundee Central School in 1974 and received her degree as a Registered Nurse from Willard Nursing School. She retired as a RN from Canandaigua VA Hospital. She was a member of Dresden United Methodist Church and “The Girls Club,” a special group of local friends. The family will receive friends at Dresden United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 15 from 11 a.m. 12 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 12 p.m., celebrating her life.
She will be interred at Evergreen Cemetery in Dresden, followed by a reception at the church. She was predeceased by her parents, Howard and Laura Longwell; her husband Neal H. Lampman, and their son, Neal P. Lampman. She is survived by her daughters, Laura (Steven) Murphy, and Mary Jo (Kevin) Newell; sister, Rosa (George) Thompson; brother, Lyn (Linda) Longwell; brother-inlaw, Buck (Wendy) Lampman; and two granddaughters, Marleah Newell (Kyle Scriven) and Ayssah Newell (Nic Laursen); and several nieces and nephews.
