Kenneth W. Hale, 87, of Penn Yan passed away April 24, 2023.
The family will receive friends at Weldon Funeral Home, 102 E. Main St., Penn Yan on Saturday, May 13 from 2 -4 p.m. followed by a memorial service celebrating his life at 4 p.m.
Kenneth William Hale was born in Rochester, N.Y. to Kenneth Walton and Dorothy Hale. He worked many years for Eastman-Kodak as a laboratory technician. He was a lifelong member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and the Seneca Lake Duck Hunters Club. He enjoyed his volunteer work with the Yates County Habitat for Humanity. Ken especially enjoyed his frequent “Bored Meetings” with his close friends.
He is survived by his wife Judy Hale; three children, Linda Hale, Ken Hale and Kelli Stanley, all of Rochester; four grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his fur baby, Tucker. He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, Robert and Richard, and sister Patricia Gauley.
