Christmas for the Needy now needs help if it is to continue the work it has done for so many years.
For all its dozens of volunteers and the thousands of donations from hundreds of people for the hundreds of families in need, Christmas for the Needy now needs help if it is to continue the work it has done for so many years.
The problem is finding the space to store the donations. A generous volunteer has been keeping the storage boxes at her home, but now that home has been sold and new space must be found.
The accumulation of the donated goods takes place year-round, and those storage boxes are gradually filled, requiring ever more space.
Heated space is not required, but it must be weather tight and without rodent or insect problems. Given that most of the year-long volunteers are retirees, a ground floor space with close parking would make the many trips in and out of the facility much more manageable.
