The Penn Yan Mustang girl's lacrosse team looked like they were on their way to their second consecutive win of the year. They were leading Webster-Schroeder 9-7 at Mustang Field Wednesday afternoon with just 2 minutes remaining. But in a wink of the eye, the Monroe County lakesiders scored 3 quick goals to pull out a 10-9 victory. The game winning goal came with just 15 seconds left in the contest. The disappointing setback dropped Penn Yan's early season record to 1-1. They are 1-0 in Finger Lakes East I League action.

Sydney Bloom scored 4 goals to lead the Penn Yan attack. Heather Conklin added 2 goals and an assist. Brienna Yonge also had a goal and 2 assists while Courtney Lafler notched 1 goal and 1 assist. Hannah Keech picked a Mustang goal also.
