Anthony C. Capozzi Jr., age 76, died Friday, April 29, 2016.

Family and Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 5 at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday May 6 at the Funeral Home. Joshua Sonoga will officiate. Burial will be in Gorham Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the V.A. M.C., Activities Fund, 400 Fort Hill Ave., Canandaigua, N.Y. 14424; or to the Wayne County ARC, 150 Van Buren St., Newark, N.Y. 14513.

Anthony was owner and operator of Nino’s Antique Shop in Gorham for the past 42 years. He also was a caretaker for ARC clients in his home for many years. Anthony was a graduate of Auctioneer school in the Midwest. He was a member of St. Theresa’s Church. Anthony was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Anthony is survived by his brother, David (Sally) Helfer; their sons, Jim Helfer and Joshua (Stephanie St. Claire) Helfer; sister-in-law, Michelle Capozzi; nieces and nephews, Donald (Laurie) Capozzi, Ken (Shelly) Capozzi,  Michelle (Gary) Garlock, Jeneane (Joshua) Sonoga, Yvonne (Christopher) Galliher, James (Loretta) Bickel, and Linda Morris; uncle, John Capozzi; cousin, John (Susan) Capozzi Jr.; and several great-nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony C. Capozzi Sr. and Beatrice Louise Gee Capozzi; sister, Janet Bickel; and brother, Donald Capozzi.
